AMEX Offers: Toys R Us, Double Tree, and Burlington Coats; Apple Pay at Walgreens
Good morning everyone, here are some new AMEX Offers that showed up in my American Express account this morning. The first one is for Toys R Us / Babies R Us. You must order online, but you can probably pick up in-store or have it delivered to your home or office. Next week there should be another Toys R Us / Babies R Us offer, stay tuned to find out.
Right now, the AA Shopping Portal is paying out 4 miles per dollar for Toys R Us orders.
Online, you can only buy Toys R Us gift cards, but no third party gift cards (same with Babies R Us).
In other news, Double Tree has an AMEX Offer. If you spend more than $175, you will get $40 statement credit. From experience with similar AMEX Offers from Marriott and Courtyard, you can probably buy a gift card inside Double Tree that can be used at other Hilton properties.
Burlington Coats also has an AMEX Offer. Spend $50 or more and get $15 statement credit.
You can buy Burlington gift cards online or in-store.
Lastly, I made a few Apple Pay purchases over the last few weeks. My favorite store to shop at is Walgreens. You just Apple Pay and you are out. They don’t ask for ID or anything. The name of the charge shows up as APLPAY WALGREENS (STORE INFORMATION), but in the details section you can see the official name of the business. It is still to early to tell if cash back is posting correctly, but I would assume/hope so.

The gift card rack is almost the same as CVS. I buy PPMCCs at Walgreens.
