What is the Future of Plink?

I’m not gunna lie, I really do like Plink.  I’ve been a member for a long time and have amassed over 21,000 Plink Points over the months.  Whether you have been a (Plinkster? Plinker? PlinkPanther?) for a long time or just recently, you probably see the potential Plink has to be great.

21000 Plink Points

But the problem with Plink is, they are only as good as the merchants they partner with and the Plink Points the merchants offer for purchases.  We have had periods of really exciting merchants (mainly Staples for a long time, followed by a shorter stint with Office Depot), but right now, there really is nothing to get too excited about.  Granted I love my fast food, going to the movies, buying shoes and flowers, but there is more to life than those things.  Trust me on this.

So what is next for Plink?  I really have no idea.  I tweet them occasionally asking if any new merchants are on the way, but all I get is a vague reply with nothing more than a promise.

So as it stands today, we must wait… hopefully not too long, otherwise Plink will lose momentum.

Keep posting the Amex offers. It’s the best way for me to find out about them. I hate having to log in and they don’t have an e-mail or tweet system that I can find.

I also have the same problem with Plink, I don’t really see how they run the business with always being out of stock with giftcards. Try promoting them when their is nothing in stock (which is pretty much always) not easy.
